For Taxpayers who wish to pay their 2018 County and Town property taxes in 2017:
Due to the new Federal Income Tax Rules, a number of taxpayers have called wishing to pay their 2018 County and Town taxes before January 1, 2018. Since the Town Hall and Tax Collector Office hours vary due to the holidays, the 2018 tax bills will be made available on the county OnCor web-site. Taxpayers wishing to pre-pay should find their 2018 tax bill to determine the amount due and payment and mailing information. The tax bill should be printed to send with the payment. If you cannot print the tax bill, be sure to include information sufficient to identify the property with your check. Payments for the exact amount due can be mailed first class and should be taken in to the post office for a receipt or to request USPS tracking. There may be a small fee for the tracking. Taxpayers should contact their financial advisor or tax preparer regarding income tax benefits of pre-payment of property taxes.

TAX BILLS ARE BEING UPLOADED, YOUR TOWN MAY NOT BE COMPLETE YET. PLEASE BE SURE YOU ARE VIEWING THE 2018 COUNTY/TOWN TAX BILL. YOU MUST PAY THE EXACT AMOUNT DUE.
City of Canandaigua taxpayers can call the city, their tax bills are not posted to the county website.
City of Geneva taxpayers should go to the City Hall, their tax bills are not posted to the county website.
Here are the instructions to find the tax bill on OnCor…
Click on OnCor on the red ribbon at the bottom of the home page
Click on the “I want to…” box, Find parcel by tax map number or address
Once the parcel comes up on the map, click on “property #____________” on the right hand side toward the top.
This will open multiple tabs under the aerial map. Use the > arrow at the far right of those tabs to get to the “tax bill” tab. Two links will appear, one for school and one for county / town.
